Mexican cuisine has taken the UK by storm

In 2007, nary a burrito was to be found in the UK. Public perception of Mexican food was that it was greasy, refried and not palatable to British consumers.

However, just 5 years later, several Mexican restaurants have opened successful chains in and out of London, and a well-known US chain has opened branches in the UK.
